Coral reefs are sensitive to climate change and track sea level. New observations show that an extensive coral reef existed in the southern Pacific Ocean thousands of years ago. Researchers used multi-beam sonar, coring, and dating to examine a relict reef discovered in water about 20-25 meters (65-82 feet) deep around Lord Howe Island in the southern Pacific Ocean.

Hi Blake,
Sorry about the slow reply, its been a bit slow here lately :(
So far I have only found a PPM-SG chart here http://www.reefersparadise.com/smf/index.php/topic,813.msg7443.html#msg7443

Here is an article from Randy Holmes-farley with some good information on SG.  It also has a formula to convert SG at different temperatures which may be helpful http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/jan2002/chemistry.htm

If I find anything else I'll let ya know!

you could probably also get new needles at Walgreens / CVS etc.  They won't give you too many, ya druggie, but if you explain what you are doing (and look respectable) they will give them out.

Yep, That's Labor Day weekend also. Hopefully the weather will be nice the whole time.

You need to get your butt down here. Disney is just around the corner from the hotel.

Shhhhh Boomer I was trying to hear my fish fart.  :D

How's it going with that?  Must be some fancy schmancy underwater tape recorder setup.   :P

I was actually going to start writing a rough draft in my spare time today then I had a few computer glitches here I had to take care of.  So I'll try again tonight or tomorrow  :)

Hi Renee,

There are quite a few articles for basic care, tank setup geared directly towards seahorse tanks at http://www.seahorse.org/library/articles/library/library.shtml.  There are also several articles on care for the different species, identification and the like.

We are definitely always here for any questions regarding the tank setup, maintenance etc, but that site is geared towards setup of tanks specifically for seahorses, so that's going to be the best bet
